COMBINED CELEBRATION: TEACHER'S DAY AND VIJAYAGAR-2024
On 5th September 2024, S.S.Citizen School CBSE celebrated Teachers’ Day and Vijayagar with enthusiasm and creativity, honouring the invaluable contributions of educators. The highlight of the day was the Grade X students dressing up as teachers, embodying their role models with pride. With chalk in hand and lesson plans prepared, they took to the classrooms to conduct engaging sessions, sharing knowledge and fostering a sense of respect for their teachers’ hard work.
The celebrations included Ganesh Pooja, a series of activities that showcased students’ creativity and spirit. A drawing, clay and rangoli competition was held, where students crafted heartfelt messages and artistic designs to express their gratitude. These cards were later presented to teachers, bringing smiles and warmth to their hearts. Additionally, a vibrant Rangoli competition took place, with students creating intricate designs using colourful powders, symbolising joy and festivity. Our school correspondent, S.S.Ravi Naicker, distributes gifts to teaching and non-teaching staff.
