Children’s day on the 14th November, 2024, with great festive fervour, to commemorate the 131st birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The programme began with a special assembly conducted by the teachers, followed by informative and inspirational speeches by the Correspondent and the Principal about the great leader, thinker, visionary and true statesman – Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Through a speech, rich tributes were paid to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who is known for his relentless efforts in increasing awareness of the rights, care and education of children. The following cultural programme had a series of interesting and exciting events, all planned meticulously for complete entertainment. Teachers of the junior section enthralled the audience with their energetic and graceful moves in their traditional dance. Kids pulsated with excitement when a student presented a dance. Children’s Day was marked with grand splendour and a fiesta as the school campus buzzed with excitement and joy as it was a day wherein fun and frolic dominated. The children came dressed in casual dresses and relished their favourite food with classmates. Various activities were organised for the children of all classes, such as art competitions and a drawing between the students. Students greatly enjoyed playing and winning against their mentors. It was a day full of joy and laughter for the students.
