Pongal is a harvest festival, a traditional Thanksgiving occasion to celebrate nature. Pongal is celebrated with joy in our S.S.Citizen School with students and teachers together. The event starts with a prayer song and a traditional by students. The students participated in the drama competition and did a magnificent job to make laurels for the pongal celebrations. The emotional abilities and acting skills of students exhibit our true tradition and culture. It gives a good opportunity to our team to collect information about the Pongal festival.

A fun-filled and charity-driven food carnival was organised on 13th January 2026. The students participated with great vigour and enthusiasm. The event was a great success in terms of a wide variety of mouth-watering delicacies and the creative decoration of stalls from each class.
