RED DAY CELEBRATION - NURSERY 4th AUGUST 2025 DAY

“The best colour in the whole world is the one that looks good on you.” Our KG children celebrated the Red colour day on 04th August 2025. All the little angels of KG had dressed up beautifully in red clothes. The class was decorated with all red colour hangings like red cherries, red teddy, red strawberries, red apples, etc. In the class on the round table, teachers had displayed red colour objects like fruits, red jam, red syrup, and red apples. The children were very amused and very happy seeing red hangings and balloons. The following day continued with the introduction of Red colour and activities related to red colour. All the children participated, and everyone was very happy. A lovely day passed by, with getting introduced to the colour of love – Red Colour.

BLUE DAY CELEBRATION - 16th AUGUST 2024

Blue, often associated with the sky and the ocean, generally symbolises calmness and peace. To highlight these associations, S.S.Citizen School’s Pre-Primary Wing celebrated “Blue Colour Day” on 16th August, 2024. During the celebration, teachers explained the significance of the colour blue and introduced it as one of the primary colours. The enthusiastic children participated by naming various blue objects, including bags, bottles, pencils, erasers, whales, the sky, the earth, the ocean, and other items. The teacher discussed different shades of blue with them, such as light blue, navy blue, and royal blue, using various objects, crayons and colours. The celebration featured a variety of activities focused on fingerprinting and toothbrush printing. The Senior KG students enjoyed creating fingerprint raindrops, while the Junior KG students participated in toothbrush printing to make whales. Our Nursery students also engaged in the fingerprinting raindrops activity. Colour enhances the aesthetic appeal of objects, environments, and art. It serves as a powerful tool for communication, conveying thoughts, concepts, and feelings. These activities help children develop their fine motor skills.
